The Hobart City Council Art Prize celebrates its 25th year and as a result, the annual theme was replaced with open entries for all art mediums. To celebrate and reflect artist diversity, the identity was made up from tools from each of the different and varied art sectors including a camera for photography, roller for printing, USB and CD for multimedia and so on. Objects are positioned and displayed playfully spilling out from within photography ‘croppers’ or frame corners to give a heightened sense of artistry whilst palette and design placement lent itself to futuristic or historic art form inclusion.
The exhibition ends on the 1st of September.
