CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

Project Architect | Melbourne or Hobart

We are looking for a passionate, driven, Project Architect with at least 8 years’ experience post-graduation who has outstanding design skills.

You are a conceptual thinker with outstanding ability in translating ideas into reality, backed by project experience and application of industry knowledge. You are curious; curious enough to be globally aware and be inspired by other creative disciplines and cultures. You are collaborative, aspirational, strive for excellence and always seek the best outcome rather than the easiest.

You enjoy working on a cross-section of project types and scales at any one time, and have experience running small to mid-sized projects with the ability to resolve and coordinate complex outcomes with rigour and to deadline.

You are great at self-direction, but know when to check-in and are exceptional at communication in all its forms. You understand the value of working in a collaborative environment because you get that an inspired, cohesive team can achieve better creative outcomes than any one individual.

You are reflective, analytical and know how to develop and maintain the design intent of a project throughout its stages and ensure that excellent technical solutions are implemented. You understand that being a team member means contributing to the business of architecture, the culture of the Studio and development of excellence and quality within the Studio not just delivering on architectural projects.

Technically you have advanced computer literacy relative to industry-based software and in particular, you are proficient at ArchiCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite; you are competent at producing resolved and considered documentation throughout the project stages to ensure clarity and professional, quality standards are met. Your knowledge of 3D modelling and presentation software is advanced.
