LIMINAL ARCHITECTURE | delivers new Howrah Primary Kindergarten
Posted 17 September 2015
We were humbled by the enthusiasm and praise we received from the school community at the opening of the Howrah Primary Kindergarten. We helped them unite Howrah Primary and Infant Schools on the one campus, while delivering effective learning environments tailored for early years.
Having completed the original master plan for the Kindergarten, we worked carefully with the school community and listened to their needs to ensure their vision could be realised and built upon.
The $1.6M Department of Education project, opened by the Education Minister, Jeremy Rockliff, was a successful collaboration between Liminal Architecture and Howrah Primary School. It included the refurbishment of an existing building connecting to a new wing. At the opening, the Principal, Shelley Thorne announced, “I am so delighted because we have gained such a fantastic learning environment.”
