ROLES OVERVIEW

Senior Project Architect – Hobart or Melbourne

We are looking for a Senior Project Architect with at least 15 years’ experience, demonstrated exceptional project and team leadership capabilities and who is an admirable all-rounder in the delivery of architecture and design projects from inception to realisation.

You are a creative, critical thinker with an impressive ability to communicate in all its forms, problem-solve and take the resolution of designs and documentation to the next level either by yourself or through leading a project team. You have a growth mindset, can resolve and coordinate complex outcomes and are an outstanding communicator who can lead project teams to deadline with rigour and expertise. You are a maestro at juggling multiple projects with the ability to distil priorities when confronted with competing demands.

You know that problems exist to be creatively solved. As a leader in the Studio, you use your initiative and are driven by the desire to explore the full potential of every idea. You mentor less experienced team members. You strive for excellence and always seek the best outcome rather than the easiest path. You are progressive, curious and will ignite the minds of your teammates, promoting the value of working in a collaborative environment because you understand that an inspired, cohesive team can achieve better outcomes than any one individual.

Technically you are skilled at translating design ideas right through to detailing with rigour – you know regulatory frameworks inside out and know how to apply these laterally. You thrive being responsible for the deliverables of all project stages, have an eye and acumen for developing clever details, and have an in-depth knowledge of construction systems and sustainability principles. Your knowledge of 3D modelling and presentation software is competent – grasp of ArchiCAD and the full Adobe Creative Suite is a must.

Project Architect – Hobart or Melbourne

We are looking for a passionate, driven, Project Architect with at least 8 years’ experience post-graduation who has outstanding design skills.

You are a conceptual thinker with outstanding ability in translating ideas into reality, backed by project experience and application of industry knowledge. You are curious; curious enough to be globally aware and be inspired by other creative disciplines. You are collaborative, aspirational, strive for excellence and always seek the best outcome rather than the easiest.

You enjoy working on a cross-section of project types and scales and have experience running small to mid-sized projects with the ability to resolve and coordinate complex outcomes with rigour and to deadline.

You are great at self-direction, know when to check-in and are exceptional at communication in all its forms. You understand the value of working in a collaborative environment because you get that an inspired, cohesive team can achieve better creative outcomes than any one individual.

You are reflective, analytical and know how to develop and maintain the design intent of a project throughout its stages and ensure that excellent technical solutions are implemented. You understand that being a team member means contributing to the business of architecture, the culture of the Studio and development of excellence and quality within the Studio not just delivering on architectural projects.

Technically you have advanced computer literacy relative to industry-based software and in particular, you are proficient at ArchiCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite; you are competent at producing resolved and considered documentation throughout the project stages to ensure clarity and professional, quality standards are met. Your knowledge of 3D modelling and presentation software is advanced.

ArchiCAD Leader - Melbourne

We are looking for an architect or architectural technician who has a least 5 years’ experience, who thinks and breathes technology, whose idea of fun is pushing ArchiCAD’s potential as you know all its secrets, and you have enough design and architectural acumen to understand that documentation clarity is underpinned by logic informed by beauty. You will have a growth mindset and not only work best within a collaborative team, but also can energise it.

You understand the importance of life-long learning, enjoy researching, problem-solving, you are active in fuelling inspiration and globally aware. You share our values of beauty, curiosity, excellence, generosity, integrity, leadership, passion and success.

You enjoy working collaboratively and with accountability. You will have exceptional software intel, can develop streamlined systems aiding efficiencies to generate documentation with such visual clarity! You are a good communicator and know how to work effectively in a team environment to develop and maintain the design intent of a project throughout its stages and ensure that excellent technical solutions are implemented.

Technically you know how to clearly communicate design, architecture and ideas through competent documentation and graphic presentation skills all stages of project delivery. You’ll naturally embody design acumen, be across technological innovations, be astute in problem-solving and interested in self-development. Your knowledge of 3D modelling and presentation software is enviable – competency in ArchiCAD and the full Adobe Creative Suite is a must; SketchUp and Rhino is desirable.
